Fun In The Elevator
Here’s an exasperating ride in an elevator for Agent J. The bluescreen characters were flat lit. Once a CG elevator shaft was built, Rick used the elevator imagery as a base from which he created interactive lighting effects. Through the use of the multiple layers of CG elevator and rotoscoped mattes, Rick was able to adjust the color, texture and lighting of the elevator to match the taste of the director.
